We are a luxury band playing authentic jazz and show tunes from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, incorporating jazz, swing, Bossa, latin and blues into our music, suitable for weddings, parties, hotels and more. We look to create the mood of the era. You can hire us as a full 8 piece, 6 piece, piece or 4 piece to adapt to your venue and budget.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, Mattie James our singer is our band leader and will be present at gig. We can come with an extra female singer however it may not be the same singer in the video, As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level .

Do you have different line-up options?

Our full line us is as follows: 2 singers, piano, guitar, bass, drums, tenor sax and alto sax. Our 7 piece with the full band and just our band leader Mattie James singing. We can come as a 5 piece, this will include, one vocalist, piano, bass, drums and one sax. We can also come as a trio, this include one singer, piano and an option of bass or sax.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, with our Pa we can provide a playlist of your choice for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up about 2 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set list is made up of the best songs from the Jazz genre which the band has worked heard to learn and arrange for the performance. however we do take requests and are happy to chat the the songs with you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
